In a short time, the #steppinuptotheplate giving initiative has reached an out-of-the-park level. This season, thanks to another matching commitment from Love, Tito’s, a new partnership with Blue Sky Partners, and the ongoing support of Elizabeth Pecore of Basket Case Design, we’re aiming even higher: $100,000 to be raised and distributed among ten local non-profits by season’s end.

Many of you have already been instrumental in supporting our game day fundraising efforts, now we’re asking all community members to make it official by taking the following pledge:

THE PLEDGE

I pledge to promote EACH of the ten game day raffles on behalf of a local non-profit by sharing with my community – via socials, emails, and/or texts – the following:

  1. A photo of the official “game ball”; and

  2. A personalized version of the note: “I’m [ NUTS / A PLAYER / A SHORTSTOP] for the Texas Playboys. This week, I’m stepping up to the plate for [INSERT @NON-PROFIT], because they [INSERT MISSION STATEMENT FROM @NON-PROFIT].  Please consider donating $10 or more to [NON-PROFIT] at [ INSERT DONATION LINK]. By doing so, you’ll automatically be entered into the game day raffle, which will include tons of cool stuff from our sponsors and friends.
